An Invalid

The prohibition of eating food cooked by a non-Jew applies even in the home of a Jew. However, people too sick or disabled to cook for themselves and have no family to cook for them, may use a non-Jew. Nevertheless, people who are visiting may not eat this food (unless it can be eaten raw).
