A number of happy events took place on Tu Be-Av (the fifteenth of Av). The primary joy is that it has become a day dedicated to finding one’s soulmate. On this day, singles should do their utmost to act in the direction of building a loving and happy family. In addition to the benefit on the individual level, building a Jewish family provides a corrective consolation for the destruction, since it contributes to the rebuilding of the Land, Jerusalem, and the Temple.
