The Blessing on New Fruits

She-heĥeyanu is recited before eating a seasonal fruit for the first time during the season. This means that right before eating, the person says two blessings: She-heĥeyanu and the standard Ha-etz (or Ha-adama), either order is acceptable. She-heĥeyanu is not recited on a fruit which grows year-round or which is canned or dried and then eaten year-round.
